How Do We Install it?
1. Prepare the surface
• Clean and level the surface.
• Remove debris and old flooring, and fix any imperfections.
2. Measure and plan
• Measure the area and choose the direction.
• Determine the starting point.
3. Install tack strips
• Lay the tack strips around the room's perimeter.
• Nail or staple the strips to the surface.
4. Cut and lay carpet
• Cut the carpet to fit the room's dimensions.
• Leave a few inches of excess on all sides.
• Lay the carpet over the tack strips and trim the excess.
5. Secure and finish
• Stretch the carpet over the tack strips using a knee kicker.
• Trim excess carpet at seams and use a seaming iron to melt the edges together.
• Use a carpet cutter to trim the edges.
• Install any necessary transition pieces or thresholds.
